Attended my first meeting of Fife Headway on Tuesday night. As is my way; I introduced myself and then proceeded to relate my experience from initial accident, accomplishments during my journey to how I am now.

Felt so good being able to tell my story, knowing that people listening had an understanding of some of the things I had to, and some I still do, go through. it was also useful hearing other people's, both service users and carers, views and suggestions.

Next week I'm booked to attend the Scottish head Injury Forum, where I'm hoping to meet others affected with a TIA and continue to learn and recover from head injury.

Now I've taken the first steps in learning about TIA, I'm keen to attend other groups and meetings to move forward.

Well done Rob ; I hope talking with others will help demystify the after-effects of your brain injury so you can better understand and cope with the issues.... Let us know how you get on next week. Cat x
