Hi, My niece has various health problems, she is in chronic pain, has fibromyalgia, she takes all the pain relief they can give her but very little works, is there a neurological condition that could cause this level of pain? She has scoliosis, hs, we think she may have m.e.

has she seen the cfs/me clinic? along with the giving up of diet coke and everything else with artificial sweeteners in they were my best things wrt pain.I did suffer a cvst 2 years after my cfs diagnosis but no question of them being related.

Did she get a head injury? I had all sorts of bad pain for quite awhile ie years after . The signals in the brain got mixed plus I had some undiscovered tears. I also found post injury that any hard coughing could ping my Vegas nerve and that is kind of how I imagine being electrocuted feels.

Talk to headway the number is linked on the right in one of the posts. A clear diagnosis is what you need, plus also look for support groups for the conditions you mention. There is nothing like expetience for tips on what to do.

Most of all, you being there pitching means more than you can know. It is hard. Bless you for being there.

Hi, it is strange you mentioning head injury, she was beaten up years ago, a lot of the problems started soon after. It makes you wonder. It is good these forums exist.
