Hi. I don't know the answer myself, but possibly the Scope helpline might know. Their number is 0808 800 3333. Best wishes. 🙂🌸

Only if you’ve been diagnosed with a learning Disablity. Which as it’s development ie diagnosed as a child.

I don’t know of any Adult being diagnosed bar the folks from institutions when they closed in the mid 90’s (care in the community) I work in the area.

Thanks for posting quite useful

It also provides a A good example of how a "simple" learning difficulty trips us up. The link takes to a very good page of information. There is an option to view a description of the register. Inside the guide a link to a letter to send to the GP. T

hat takes you to page where it says "Don't miss out join the learning disability register" great ! Then that takes you to a page with a guide. Open the guide and read through and there is a link to apply - click on the link ........

I know it is early in the morning but it took me a good few minutes to work it out.

Yes it's a really user-friendly site ....wish others could be so easy to navigate.

Talking of 'Early morning' it's been another marathon for me (awake for 48hrs now). So on this beautiful sunny day I'm no use for anything 🥱 !

Hope all's OK(as poss) with you & Sharon. xx

Oddly, i am not sleeping either at the moment and it isn't due to pain. Don't know why may be the change in seasons

People laugh ........but I don't sleep whenever there's a full moon ! 🥺😵 xx

bizarre!

However, a lot of old boy gardeners used to believe in planting seeds by moonlight - certainly an option. Although, wandering around the garden with a torch in the early hours will probably result in the neighbours thinking burglars are about.

Learning disabilities are not generally a brain Injury, there is a overlap but fairly narrow generally it’s definition is from birth ie development rather than acquired, for A Learning Disablity.

There is absolutely a overlap, particularly for folks who have a brain injury very young. But for most while there are similarities there is also clear blue water between the two definitions.
