So, so correct about my life now, should have 2 more jars for people's comments, 1 for "I'm like that, I forget things too* and another for" it's your age". Sometimes I just have to walk away or the swear jar would be a lot fuller!!!

Yea or the famous “I’m tired too” sayin.. I’m not tired I’m fatigued learn the difference 😂

People just translate the word fatigue to mean tired, they don't understand it at all. I didn't until I got my head injury. The only thing that helps me is knowing there are others out there feeling the same. I live in hope that one day people will understand and believe how we feel.

It’s what I always say.. tiredness & fatigue are not the same thing.. one day people will get it 😁

How ironic, I started writing a reply and then forgot what I wanted to say, had to delete my reply, take a few mins to remember and start again! 😂🤣 it properly winds me up when you have to keep repeating yourself to friends/family about what no short-term memory & fatigue means, one of my close friends used to constantly say "works been so busy this week I'm so exhausted you've got no idea" 😫 One of the things I have found really useful is sending people a link for spoon theory, I don't know if any of you have read about it but it's a very good story/analogy explaining what it's like to have any type of chronic condition, there are plenty of articles on it if you put it in Google. It talks about how normal people have unlimited spoons (Describing physical and mental energy/capability) and we only have a very limited, short supply and sometimes we have to borrow spoons from the next day because we run out by the afternoon or even In the morning for some people. I don't know if I'm allowed to send links on this forum but my favourite article is on happiful.com, it gives friends & family an idea of what we go through on a daily basis especially the paragraph that explains fatigue and that having a rest/sleep does not make any difference to energy levels to those of us who suffer fatigue. So now with certain friends of mine I just say I'm really low on spoons today and they get it! 😊
