Hi,

As you probably have discovered by now is that after the initial injury "recovery" is quite slow and the older you are the slower it is. After that it picks up a bit as some of the pain / swelling gets under control. Then any improvement starts to tail off.

What you may find is that the symptoms you have now may improve slightly over the years but will always be with you.

At this point it more about developing coping strategies and living with what you can do.

Have seen, or under any specialists ?

Hi Oscars and welcome. You're maybe at the point of feeling you should've seen more improvement ? After a brain haemorrhage my progress peaked at around the 3 year point and, even now, my memory & concentration are still compromised, my balance is poor and fatigue dictates my days.

But it's all manageable and I'm thankful I survived to still enjoy life, albeit a little differently. And some days are decidedly better than others.

What are your main issues and how has life been generally since your brain injury ? Cat..
