Wondered if anyone on here about two years post surgery. I had a planned craniotomy no bleed no stroke but feel exhausted still. Will this ever go away. They have discharged me saying I'm 100% back do normal but I don't feel like the old me at all. Feel like everyone is treating me impatiently as all expect the old me but I feel that person has gone. Trying to get back into work and keep getting ”no” and getting to me too. Feeling so incredibly frustrated.

I sometimes wonder if I’m blaming the surgery but maybe other underlying issues or I need to reassess. I seem sometimes like I’m ok but if I have a long day it wipes me out for the next two days which is not good when you still have everything to still do. I’m in the process of trying to get a job but finding it hard to keep on top of everything as it is and worry how tired I’m going to get. Yet if you ask Doctors they say I’m 100% fine and back to normal. I just don’t feel I am. Have you found anything that helps.

No. Neuro tried to put me on antidepressants I refused then went back to my own dr n gave them a try, I knew they wunt work n the pharmacist told me they could cause drowsiness n I told him that defeats object as they are to help with chronic fatigue, I upped n upped the dosage for 18 months n still no joy so I warned myself off them n refused to take any other forms x
