Magnesium and vitamin B supplements?
Good call Recovering H!
Many studies have shown that a deficiency in magnesium contributes to several mental health problems, including anxiety. However, chelated magnesium (as found in all supplements) is extremely difficult for the body to absorb. Spinach, chard and curly kale have high levels of magnesium and can make a marked difference, particularly with energy levels, in just a couple of days.
Hi Memory, feeling anxious is something we all feel at times some more than others but we all feel it, It’s finding a way forward, and it’s finding something to take our minds off the feeling of the anxiety or the causes of why you have it in the first place if that makes sense. Sometimes it’s writing down all your feelings date, times and do a day to day event to see if it fits a pattern. Please try it and see if it helps you even on a good day.
What you have gone through and come through in your life is amazing and you should be so proud of yourself because of how much you have achieved so from me well done and keep strong. Love Liz x🌹
I didnt understand how my brain injury actually affected me, until i got in touch with headways, i knew that i didnt feel right in myself when i came out of hospital. One of the drs i saw said i was imagining it, like i was making it up, headways sent me some information out and i realised i had more wrong with me than i actually knew and how it was affecting me on a day to day basis
It's very frustrating having a brain injury and on some days I hate mine too!
I have found myself becoming more withdrawn and hate socialising with people.
