My friend Margsie showed me this app and said it is being trialled by some NHS Trusts. She was introduced to it by her OT and said it has made unbelievable differences to her. Although marketed for stroke my friend has a severe TBI and says it can work for any ABI!
When I saw it I started getting choked up because I realised immediately what a huge, huge difference it could have made for me when I was working with OT and S&L therapists. It is awesome! It works with PT too!
It is too late for me now as my OT programme finished two years ago but for anyone who is still there I am positive this will speed and improve recovery!
I did some digging and found out that the first 500 users can use it for free for 12 months. There is a code - SANC2019 to use and you can invite your therapists to join you on the platform and they can use it to monitor your therapy and set you tasks! Family can also get involved, which to me is brilliant because they can give you support through a chat feature.
strokeactive.com/ I'd say get in there quick in case it takes a while for your NHS Trust to get on board. Apparently anyone can use it because the trial is free so you don't have to wait for NHS to pay...
