Nerve damage after blood test

I had my blood drawn 12 days ago. Immediately I felt chock down my arm to my fingers when she stuck the needle in. She said she must have hit a nerve. After 3-4 days, I began feeling pain in my fingers and it feels like a knife is stabbing into my fingers when I extend my arm. It hasn’t gotten any better yet. As it is my right arm, and I am right handed, it is pretty devastating to me. I get these horrible pains numerous times during the day.

I am feeling nervous about the pain being permanent. Can someone please tell me if they have had this kind of pain and it has gone away again?
