thats providing you dont or you work a certain nunber of hours. youll also find you can probably claim carers allowance for him and hell be entitled to ( cant remember because i have memory problems due to a brain injury ).
as you dont appear to be working, you probably already get free prescriptions and ( if req.) specs.
me i get pip thats it, served my country, worked, both my wife and myself, she works now, we have savings, were entitled to jack shit.
you only get a blue badge if you get full mobility on your pip, what youve got to remember is, yes you can get a reduction in road tax, but its for the person with the brain injury, so he or she has to be with you whenever you drive the car.
many brain injury survivors claim and receive a big council tax reduction by claiming on a form from council for severe mental inparement ..not a nice description but if you live on your own it makes your council tax zero .if with another person you also get a big reduction ,,
