Hello- my daughter who is 22 has an acquired brain injury. She’s done incredibly well and now she’s taken the first step to go back to Uni part time.
She had high hopes that Uni would to help her regain a social life... but the ABI makes her quite different, and she’s finding it difficult to make friends. We are in the Derbyshire/Nottingham area, what are other good ways to make friends? What are your experiences of Headway groups for young people?

I am sure there must be a person in charge of welfare at Uni. Get her to have a word with him (or ring him yourself), They must have come across this problem before and I am sure they have suggestions for her.
