Discharge after Sub-Dural bleed

Hi

Just seeking advice as my brother recently diagnosed sub-acute dural bleed. Has had CT scan, has evidence of old bleeds as well as a recent one. On blood thinner clopidogrel. Liaised with neuro team who advised to monitor await for the effects of the clopidogrel to wear off and review after 5 days they do CT scan. However, the hospital want to discharge after 48 hours of observation, is this right ?
