Inpatient rehab VS skilled nursing home? After anoxic brain injury

Im debating on moving Russ from the nursing home (they have done great with him) but im hoping more intense therapy can help him improve more. Im researching at this point and am hoping to hear 1st hand stories. His main goals are walking, driving someday, return to the workforce. I feel specialty rehab would have more options.

before i moved to my present location and prior to my brain injury, i worked in a home that offered intermediate care.

we worked very closely with phsysios and ots to prepare residents for going home. we d be left with a set of exercises or instructions for that that individual and the ot or physio would drop in 2 or 3 times a week.

because we were able to give the time the residents improvement was better than it would have been if theyd been in hospital.

ive heard that northwick park harrow west london is a good specialist unit if you wish to go down that route, its attached to the hospital.
