Sound advice for sure. But, for years, I've have my own take on the reason for the increase in dementia. For starters we're living longer, meaning a section of the population has higher susceptibility to degenerative illnesses. But quite apart from that, daily exposure to an atmosphere of lead particulates spewed from diesel vehicles is the most obvious factor in the killing of brain cells.
Of course Thatcher, in her wisdom, was responsible for promoting diesel engines in a misguided attempt to reduce greenhouse gasses ; and Gordon Brown even gave concessions to diesel owners resulting in unprecedented diesel sales. The air we now breathe is carcinogenic...………….it's not rocket science that subjecting an organ to daily doses of poison will result in catastrophe.
So applying the 5 golden rules is imperative, if only to mitigate effects we have no control over.
Sorry, I hadn't intended to spout gloom & doom Plenty ; it's just something I'm pretty passionate about ! 🤯 xx
Agree with all that Cat. And nothing wrong with passion at all(tempted to make a wisecrack, but won't!).
Think there has to be a reason alot of illnesses are going up,look at changes since WW2:-fridges,microwaves,pollutants(planes aswell as vehicles!),mobile phones, radio waves(wifi/blutooth)-most of these are never looked at cos of money involved.
