Hi Martin. I had my first shunt aged 51. Two years ago. Memory unfortunately is still bad. Memory games on phone are good but I still forget lots.

Hi shaunmcg What were your problems, to be given a shunt. As i was told they don't know what caused my build up of fluid, only thing i can think of is that i have had a few bangs on my head in the past.Do you work, unfortunately i don't, i Get certain benefits but would love to get back into employment

Sorry just saw this! I work as an accountant running my own business. Not easy! I nap a few times during the day. Memory is painfully slow at improving but just accept it is what it is! Headaches much less though I still get a few but nothing like pre shunt.
