All the best for the 18th and I hope you didn't book your tickets through Viagogo. I'm surprised Keef's stile alive, hope for us all, although I'm not using him as a role model!!!!

Best wishes

X

Haha I wish I had a quarter of their energy. Keith is pickled I think and no he isn’t a role model lol . Charlie the most sensible but I think he would be happy to retire. Yes I bought them through viagogo but it was all up front for the charges so I’m okay with them.

Thank you for your good wishes for the 18th😱😱🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Shona

Actually one of the few times my TBI has been a God send was my inability to keep up with Viagogo's ticking time bomb.

Shona, I'm betting you'll look back on the coiling as a piece of cake, but I suppose you'll worry no matter what anyone says. Enjoy the Stones on Saturday m'dear, in the knowledge you'll emerge a new woman on the 18th ! Best wishes, Cat x

Finally got your date... well heres a woman who knows exactly how you feel!!!! Although mine is done I’m 100% here for you to rant to.. or whatever eases the worry/appreciation etc. I think the biggest thing afterwards is the fatigue.. never really known anything like it although today feel really a lot better and like me again. Have a plan to accommodate it as believe me it will rule you for a while.

Wishing you all the good wishes and enjoy the Stones. Keep in touch and don’t forget I’m here💗

Hi Andrea, how are you feeling now? Haven’t seen you on this page for a week and hope all is well with you. My pre assessment was yesterday so that’s me all set for Monday at awful o’clock. 😱😱

Stones were absolutely fantastic , better than I expected . Had a lovely weekend so that will set me up for what’s ahead .

Hope you are up and at ‘em .

Hiya Shona

Glad you’ve had your pre op all over and done with. I’m good thanks👍🏻Still no prob with Head just still very bruised on thigh. Also I’ve found that if I get uptight I get a strange partial vision in my right eye of almost rippling water... it lasts about 30 minutes then goes ... I’ve had it twice.. weird but think a few people experience this!!!

Glad you got to the Stones!!!🎧🎼🎸is your date still the 18th ? I hadn’t forgotten you💗will try and send you a message on the private bit on this site and give you my mobile number incase you need some verbal Moral support... but will be in touch anyway on here.

Enjoy the rest of your week.. think positively and just keep thinking it’s just another day at the office for these brilliant surgeons 💕x Andrea

Stop worrying you will be fine I have had two clipped off involving major surgery now it’s done through the artery less invasive and much less risk. The team who will be doing it I am sure will have had plenty of experience to the degree it’s more or less a normal elective every day thing. Better to get rid of than to live with constant threat of rupture and consequences. Enjoy your concert and then get it over with and good luck

Thank you Margaret but if you are a worrier nothing changes that. My procedure is being done through the groin but not as simple as you think. The Annie is 22mm and growing which also has blood in the centre. This will be coiled. The main artery will have a stent put in and another artery will be closed over. I should have had it clipped but it’s in a dangerous situation . Yes, the experts will be highly skilled and I also know it won’t be so invasive but because of my age and the state of the Annie it isn’t going to be a simple procedure. I am seven years cancer free and that was a very tough time . This is much more difficult as I don’t have any control or know anything about this Annie. I will though enjoy the Concert and just get on with the next stages ahead of me .
