Yesterday kev was so aggressive he started smashing his room up, this is just not like him. I said to the rehab centre that he needed another scan and they took him to the local hospital for a ct. they found additional blood in 2 parts of his brain 10ml but sent him back to the rehab centre just saying they will monitor it. This morning I get a call saying he’s smashed the dining room up and they have had to call the police as he is so aggressive - surely the additional blood and his behaviour change go together?? I don’t know what they can do about it but something needs to be done - I’m worried that the rehab centre can’t cope with his aggression but I know something is causing it. Our son is heading over up see if he can calm him down (they have advised I don’t go) but I just wish I knew what was going on....

Phone Headway first thing on Monday morning. The can recommend a solicitor who specialises in head injuries. You need to make sure the police know that he is ill not bad. They can also advise you about how to deal with the bleeds. I wish you well.

I wish there were the words of reassurance or wisdom to offer you m'love ; this must be torture for you, especially after waiting so long for positive signs. As Jan suggests, please speak to Headway on Monday for their advice and support.

Let us know how your son gets on won't you ? I'll be thinking of you. So sorry........... xx

I am so sorry that you are having to go through all this anguish, you must be beside yourself with worry. I would demand to know from the rehab exactly what they hope to gain by calling the police?
