Hi I'm a newbie my name's Angela (Ang) I have MS diagnosed iin 1999. I was able to work full time for the first 4 years but then had to go part time till 2006 when I couldn't get in my car anymore. Now I'm very disabled using an electric wheelchair and reliance on carers. The MS affects my bladder and bowels so now I have a suprapubic catheter and 2 years ago I chose to have a colostomy because I was spending half my life sitting on a soiled pad - I don't regret my decision.

Hi there Ang. Just wanted to say hello and offer my best wishes. I know MS is a massive challenging and dealing with it takes great tenacity.

And what a shame there's no HealthUnlocked forum ; I know the demand is there. Hope your Sunday is pleasant & comfortable. With love and a big cyber-hug, Cat x

Hi nice to hear from a fellow newbie because I don't usually participate in social media - don't see the point in broadcasting your life - but hopefully this will be more relevant!

Haha, not a newbie Ang, I've been here on the Headway forum for 5 years, after a brain haemorrhage 6 years ago. This is the only site I participate in (don't use other social media).

Nice to meet you ! 😐 x
