That is excellent news and a position to relate to others, and speaking about the spine and brain. The posterior cranial fossa is part of the cranial cavity, located between the foramen magnum (the hole in the base of the skull through which the spinal cord passes,) I have damage in the pons area which connects with medulla oblongata medulla oblongata is connected by the pons (the bridge) to the mid-brain and is continuous posteriorly with the spinal cord, a fact that this is MRI recorded most outside neurology have no understanding of its impact upon me, to be honest I am unclear myself as I only live with is and the consequences. I am aware this appears technical, however its years of research in trying to find out why I no longer function as once I did, I except things will never change and I reluctantly accept this. I hope you can enlighten those who are unaware of the function of the brain stem and spine interactions.
I did approach the Brain & Spine Charity with getting some funding a few years ago.
I seem to be in the same sort of position as Padmeister above. My symptoms/function seems to be deteriorating and no one seems to have any sort of indications, even after much research by myself. Brain Injury by a brain tumour is rearly mentioned even though thr effects are very similar.
Even over the last couple of years since I have known them they have really expanded and built up their knowledge and experience so I'm sure if you tried again now you may get a better response.
