Hi,

We're proud to announce the launch of a new range of publications on relationships after brain injury.

The pack contains two brand new booklets:

- 'Relationships after brain injury'

- 'Sex and sexuality after brain injury'

There are also new guides for friends, partners, grandparents, siblings and colleagues.

Visit our website to find out more and download the resources:

headway.org.uk/news/nationa...

We'd be really keen to hear your feedback on the publications and as always, do get in touch if you need support from Headway.

Thank you for doing these. I'm wondering which would be the best for parents to read? My hubby has a bi and his parents don't understand at all.

Hi jodr,

Sorry to hear that your husband’s parents aren’t understanding his brain injury.

Our general booklets including 'The effects of brain injury and how to help' contain some useful information for them to start off with. These can be downloaded along with our other publications on our website at headway.org.uk/about-brain-...

They can also ring the Headway helpline on 0808 800 2244 if they have any questions about their son’s injury and how it might affect him - the helpline can also send out free printed copies of the booklets.

I hope this helps, and please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any more support.

Best wishes,

Headway

Thanks, I have been trying to explain for ages to my partner why I can't help losing my temper at times and why I find sexual relations difficult. These pamphlets should help both her and I. :)
