encephalomalacia and atrophy

My husband got his ct scan report and it said he had encephalomalacia and atrophy. Who else has this?

I myself have bi frontal encephalomalacia as defined by MRI, I was in a high speed motorcycle RTC on a Suzuki 750 and significant brain damage/atrophy or lesions. The quality of life I have found is OK when the people around care and have a rudimentary understanding of TBI as I still make mistakes and I can be socially inappropriate. I wish your husband and you the very best outcome in this.
