Possibly though mine have changed they are less frequent more states of uncomfortable confusion than the full tunnel vision need to sit in the dark for the rest of the day.

Not really, no. It will be more to do with how your brain processes pain - and people can have a problem with that without having brain damage. So it is entirely possible that there are people with pain processing disorders (like Fibro for example) who would potentially get 'worse' migraines than you.

As pain is subjective and you can't actually measure it, it is a bit of an odd question to answer though.

It really depends on the type of damage and your particular problem. I used to get really bad migraine-type headaches before I knew about my brain damage. They were a symptom of it as I later found out.

Migraines vary widely from person to person with no rhyme or reason -- excepting true "cluster headache". Check that out on YouTube... it's a horror. That's a badge of honor in the headache community NO ONE wants. It's estimated as the most intense pain humans experience -- surpassing childbirth.

As another person pointed out, pain is subjective. But if you're not going to the ER for them constantly or vomiting like crazy and dehydrating, ya might just be average. ;-)

I have long standing headaches not migraines thank good at least I think there not been careful never to tell health professionals because they like to refer you for more test sorry had enough prodding and probing to last a lifetime then getting my eyes tested three years ago I forgot myself and answered yes when she asked if I get headaches

Prodding and probing later, now I have to have visual field test at hospital every six months apparently I have small bits of my vision missing nothing I would notice but could be causing the headaches

And according to my DNA I had done I'm a wos when I comes to pain mmm

Well having a brain injury I find it makes it harder to deal with lots of things.

I suffer from fatigue just doing normal tasks, so dealing with the stress and mental pressure of migraine on top of that, maybe for days/weeks grinds me down mentally and physically.

I get headaches most days, migraines for about 6 months of the year of various types.

I find the mental aspect of needing to endure the symptoms of migraine for long periods is much harder to take than the pain.
