I had a shunt fitted in August for Hydrocephalus. My neck aches far more than it did before I had it fitted.

Can you advise?

Do you have a headache, does the light hurt your eyes or a high temperature and rash or any other symptoms?

I would strongly suggest you seek medical advice from your GP or specialist.....even if it's just to put your mind at rest.....I know when the pressure in my head increases I get neck stiffness, but then you can get neck stiffness for a variety of reasons. Always best to get it checked out soon.

If you have trouble getting an appointment with your GP give NHS 24 a call as they can expidite the process
