Extraordinary Weddings...

I watched this last night and thought others in this group would find it enjoyable too. It's about two couples who have issues relating to brain injury getting married. It gives me hope for the future

Very inspirational and great to see how their partners handled the changes and didn't give up on them. K

I watched it too. We renewed our wedding vows in August after 30 yrs married.

My husbands BI was 3yrs ago & we had the same problems.

We practised his vows over & over, till he sort of remembered them.

Also got people to take loads of photos, we could show him later.

It was a wonderful day & great for us to look back on, but the programme did make me very emotional, as a carer I could really empathise with the partners

I'm 53 and never been married but I have a girlfriend now and hope to marry her when we can afford it
