I've been reading all posts and see there's lots of newbies....welcome all🖐and Hi to all the regulars 🖐
What have I been upto.... Well ! I've yet again pushed the boundaries and the result, I broke my foot (metatarsal) about a month ago. I thought life couldn't be more difficult....I mean as you guys know living with a brain injury is hard enough but being confined to bed has been horrendous. I haven't been able to walk or leave the house since my fall. And has some of you will know since my BH I cannot (due to problems caused by BH) ever leave my home without a companion.
Anyway..... I can go out tomorrow (with boot on). Will be in wheelchair, can't walk too far yet, but............fresh air, well! fresh ish!!!! Going to a park with hubby to feed the ducks. Then visit number two grandson for his first birthday.
I know it's early to wish Happy Christmas to you all. But after weeks of feeling sorry for myself and knowing there are folks much much worse than me I wanted to share a little happiness with you all. So again "A Very Happy Christmas" to all those who celebrate and those who don't I'll just wish you "Happiness" xxxx Jo

Thanks Cindy for asking about us. It has recently been realized that my son most likely has brain damage too, caused by the alcohol his birth mum consumed during pregnancy. Things bit tricky here at the moment but we're getting by. We are looking forward to going away for Xmas.
Hi Strawberry, life is sooooooh bloody tough at times isn't it!!!! I hope your son gets the help you feel/think he deserves. Where are you off to for Xmas????
And if you need to chat , pm me I'm only to willing to listen, help or even advice if I can. Strawberry we all need someone every now and again if that's me message, text etc.... And if I can I'm only to happy to help. Take care 😃
I stepped up on a sofa bed (in spare room) to open a window, I totally lost my balance and fell backwards. I smashed my leg against the wall and as I fell I pulled a 42inch TV off the wall and icracked the screen. I was very very lucky that husband was home and that I didn't bang my head. Cost me a broken foot and a new TV though!!!!
Had a lovely time at the park but it was bloody freezing and I did wrap up
Had to change plans for Christmas. We are now going to my sisters Mandy. ( I cannot remember if I told you I had reconciled with my sister Mandy some three years after my BH......to put it the best way I can we drifted apart about 7 months after my BH )
We will have a great Christmas lunch with Mandy and family, our son and family and a few others.
What our you upto Cat.......
