Marks had his cranioplasty today although it was touch and go as there was no beds. They worked their magic in Preston and he had op at 5 30. He's totally exhausted and a headache!
But they say it's all gone well. I'm in the ibis down the road. Tired but relieved it's done. Hoping for a good day tomorrow. Xx
Fantastic news Debbie and Mark. I remember being in bits about having my cranioplasty, I'd heard such horror stories. But when I came round, apart from needing a pee pee and feeling a bit sick, I felt ok. I was out of hospital 3 days later and had the staples out 10 days later. I was careful not to touch the wound at all and it healed up lovely. My plate and I are great pals now 
I hardly know it's there. Wishing Mark a speedy recovery, he'll look like he's been beaten around the face in a couple of days but it soon passes xx
