It's sounds like concussion and headakes with brain injourys are common, but you really should see some one about it, rather than just assuming it's fine.
Have you got any other symptoms like balance, speech or memory problems? Sense of taste and smell OK? Are you able to do maths calculations as you could before? Anything abnormal even if it seems very silly? If is concussion you need to rest the poor old brain with peace and quiet. Do your family think you are different?
If you go to the GP's again I would take a minder as Doctors seem to take far more notice of a friend and relative reporting odd things that the person who is affected.
I THINK HEADACHES ARE FAIRLY CONSISTENT WITH ABANG ON THE HEAD OF ANY KIND. I CERTAINLY HAD THEM AFTER MY BRAIN INJURY. IF IN ANY DOUBT AT ALL THAT YOU ARE OK (WHICH SOUNDS LIKE YOU MAY NOT BE) I'D GO BACK TO THE GP & GET A REFFERAL TO A NEUROLOGIST. THIS MAY SOUND A BIT DRAMATIC BUT THEY HAVE THE EXPERTISE TO DEAL WITH HEAD INJURY HOWEVER SMALL YOU THINK IT IS. AT LEAST YOU'LL KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH YOUR HEAD.
how are you now? Brain damage cant always be detected. and the injury can come to light weeks later so i would bypass your GP and go to out of hours doctors at local hozzy as they are different docs there every week and get different opinions!.
