Afternoon all. How do you manage with continuing care at home post discharge from hospital?

My father suffered a sub-dural haematoma in May and has approximately 25% of his brain working. Any experiences and things to watch out for would be greatly appreciated.

Hi JBux,

My family are in much the same situation, we are also struggling with continuing care since my husband was discharged from hospital after a traumatic brain injury and it has also affected my grown-up children. I have just posted a question about PA's/ Personal Care Assistants which may also be useful for you to look if others have experienced this.

I am sorry we can provide no useful information to you but I hope it helps to know that you are not the only one in your position.

Take care,

PicklePepper
