Side effects after brain stem operation..

I had an operation to remove an operation from my brain stem a few months ago. The vibrations throughout my body and tingling in my fingers are really bad. It's possibly from scar tissue? but could silly little things such as carrying too much also make this worse? Should I not carry at all? As it would put pressure in that area?

I really think you need to speak to your consultant because any advice here cannot be totally reliable just personal experience

it sounds like the vibrations and tingling is down to your nerves and could just be swelling from the operation trapping them, but I would phone your consultants secretary and speak to them as soon as possible for peace of mind if nothing else.

The brain stem has a lot of important components to it, and it's also where every signal passes through from your brain to your body, so it's not surprising you feel weird.

But as it's been said, speak to a professional about it.

Thank you.. I think it hasn't really sunk in how maybe this was quite a big operation, Before this I never had anything an the first operation in my life is on my brain stem! I think until something goes wrong, we are not really aware of our bodies and when it does go wrong it puts everything else into perspective.. It's hard though as I as Im sure many others keep on comparing our lives before and want that back and cant really deal with the way things are now. I am struggling with that
