alfiepdoodle,

Those were my exact experiences also but it eventually improved.

Now I may feel a little tired on the venesection day so I always try to get a late afternoon appointment but after a good nights sleep I am fine the next day.

how many sessions did it take for you to feel better please and how much weee they taking each time 500 ? Someone has suggested 250 might be better for me but it would take so much longer to get stable

alfiepdoodle,

Yes, they will take less if you are struggling but I stuck with 500ml as wanted to achieve to ‘maintenance’ level more quickly too.

Except now I realise it doesn’t always work like that as a couple of times ferritin levels went up directly after venesection!! 😳😮

There was no sudden improvement in how I felt after venesection but a gradual progress over probably the first year. I still don’t drive after even now as can feel wobbly.
