Smear test bleeding

This question in my mind making me low.

I have done my smear test before 4 days and everything was fine. No spotting or bleeding.

After 4 days I was bleeding around 15 drops, it was bright red which I saw when I pee and also I saw dark brown blood in my pad. I was so tired and fatigue at that day. My period was due on 7 days, I thought maybe my period is early.

But it is not the case, it stopped and now I am getting brown spots (which is my period pattern and I can understand that my period gonna start)

What was the bright blood I saw? I’m really scared. I have health anxiety and I couldn’t sleep for the past 3 days. I searched Google but I couldn’t find the answer.

Do smear test bleeds after 4 days?
