Vulvia cancer

Hi I have Vulvia cancer. I am on radiotherapy and chemotherapy. I am using QV cream for the soreness. But someone has given me a testimony for Tropic Tamanu Healing Balm. Has anyone uses this cream and dose it work. I have just completed week 2 of 5 weeks of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Hi,

You should speak to your treatment nurse as they give great advice and tips.

I used Doublebase gel to moistures and then just used morphine gel for pain and sat in warm bath with salt.

Also join the Macmillan community forum as they have a ask expert with a radiotherapy nurse.

We at Ask Eve haven’t heard of this product. We always recommend that you run any products past your oncology team to sure they are ok.

Some creams/ lotions etc may have ingredients in them that can affect treatment. Your therapy radiographer team may have a list of recommended products and ones to avoid.
