Just interested to know if any of you have used Celluvisc eye drops and if so how did you get on with them ?I have just been prescribed them by the ophthalmologist to help with an increase in my TED symptoms.

I have checked that they are preservative free.

Thx.

Hey there again :

I haven't used that particular eye product, and as long as you use preservative free, you have very many to choose from and I also found that I needed to switch product brands every once in a while - if you find relief of symptoms, it's a job done, and if you still have symptoms after a week or so maybe look to trying another product.

There are more heavy duty " gunkier " products to use over night if this is also bothering you.

you pennyannie for your quick reply.That’s reassuring and good advice if I don’t get relief from these particular drops.

I wander if they can be used long term or a just to be used as a course of treatment...

I used my eye drops if and when needed ;

There were times when I was in constant pain and needed relief very often :

Now I seem to be in a period of few symptoms and I no longer use the heavy duty overnight " gunkier " stuff - I still have a reserve of the lighter, water type drops and I always need to be careful in bright sunlight and the sunshine we current are blessed with.
