Please can someone tell me what’s the difference between graves and myasthenia graves ? Or are they the same ? Xx

The only connection is both are autoimmune diseases.

GRAVES' named after Robert Grave who first noted it is when antibodies cause the thyroid gland to produce excess thyroid hormones.

Myasthenia Gravis ( spelt with an I not an e) affects nerves and muscles.
