Effects of Aristo

Having taken L Thyroxin Henning 150 for over 20 years without problem I have now been moved to Aristo/Vencamil 100,150 alternate days. After a month I am feeling very tired all the time. does anyone else have problems.

I'm sorry you have not had any replies on the Graves Disease forum -

I think you will find forum members on the Thyroid UK forum better able to help you :

Were any blood tests run to justify this dose decrease in thyroid hormone replacement and if so, if you care to share the results and ranges forum members maybe able to help explain why this action took place.

It seems you were well for 20 odd years on the higher dose and now experience symptoms of tiredness so it does make one wonder why your dose was even changed ?

What reason was given for the dose reduction - can you go back to the doctor and ask for your ' old dose ' to be reinstated ?
