I find pubs or cafe's are sometimes better than restaurants as many restaurants seem to do the Brake Bros. cook-chill food which is usually dodgy. Many pubs I have found cook their own stuff fresh and you can get into dialogue with them over the subject and they are more willing to tweak their menu.

I always advise coeliac to do a web search to see whats gf in an area before visiting and this is what I came up with for Kettering:

thebestof.co.uk/local/kette...

The Piccidilly cafe looks interesting I also saw on the search thats there's a vegetarian resteraunt in Corby that caters for a gf diet.

Few restaurants will be wholly GF - some can accommodate you, others won't try - Harvester and Sizzling Pubs have NOT been accommodating on that front.

Toby Carveries are pretty good and of course standardised across the country.

Outlets under the "Salt" and "Wetherspoons" brands are also very good and mark up their menu's - they will also tell you whether a particular meal of your choice can be made GF with a few simple changes :D
