Does anyone else suffer from hissing in the ears?

Yep, its called tinnitus and not aware of any link to CD. Caused by blood flow in the ear, but some people get ringing and other noises sometimes caused by ear damage (exposure to loud noise or long term exposure to raised noise levels) or by childhood illness.

Not curable but if deafness accompanies it use of a hearing aid will drown it out.

Some people get very distressed by it, but over time your body gets used to it and you only tend to notice occasionally.

I suffer from it.

Me too I also get gammy ichy ears (mmm nice) I can't wear headphones. Its like having my own sea!

i get tinnitus occasionally too....& i do not live anywhere near a snake farm !!!!!
