Instead of guessing go to your doctor and have a blood test, so you know what's low and what vit and mins u need.....I have blood tests every three months to monitor my calcium, d3 and b12 .......

That's good advice. I have been wondering the same thing - especially in light of the fact that some argue that supplements can't be properly absorbed until the digestive system has fully healed.

Hope you find an answer, Milind. Let us know how you get on...

if you do go to the dr, ask them to test for micronutrients such as magnesium as well. they are not usually included on standard bloods but malabsorbtion can reduce your magnesium levels whcih in turn will affect ATP transport and calcium uptake which could result in you feeling tired and run down. Good luck.

My gp has said that he thinks everyone in this country should take a D3 supplement since we just don't get enough sunlight and that since many of us also tend to wear high factor sun cream when we do get any sun, we are still deficient.

Thank you so much Jilip .I live in India so I might not have D3 deficiency. Will check nevertheless. Thanks.

You very probably haven't.....maybe you have too much. I hope you get sorted
