Hello everyone, I have joined the "Gluten Free Guerrillas" group as I realised that I have quite a few symptoms of Celiac Disease.
I would like to ask where I can find a book that explains the condition, there seems to be so many places to start.
I may have problems finding a Doctor with knowledge of Celiac Disease as I live in Indonesia and apparently asian people do not suffer with this condition. I will have to figure a lot of this out by myself.
Thank you.

It can be daunting at first as there’s so much information online regards Coeliac Disease and other gluten related disorders. I would recommend ‘Gluten Freedom’ a comprehensive guide book by Alessio Fasano. He’s one of the world’s leading expert medical doctor and researcher on Celiac Disease and the gluten free diet. I also found the book by the late Elaine Gottschall called ‘Breaking the Vicious Cycle Intestinal Health through Diet’, to be invaluable; it presents the history of Celiac Disease and its treatment. Both books are founded on the scientific literature but accessible.
