Just thought I would share my experience of coronavirus vaccination I received yesterday. I live in South Wales, and I must say I was impressed with the setup they had in this particular leisure centre.
The security and safety measures were second to none. Well done 👏 to all their staff
The only mildly excitement they had apparently was provided by yours truly. When the nurse injected me I saw his eyes widen a little. Confused, I asked him what was wrong and at the same time looked down. There was blood gushing out of my arm and onto his hands. That’s when I noticed he wasn’t wearing any gloves despite there being a box of them on his table. I asked him why he wasn’t wearing any. He said “ they “ didn’t recommend it
Anyway, relevant people were called and I was told that since they had started giving this vaccination, they had not had a single case where injection sight bled.
Any others this happened to? Just curious 🧐

Thanks for asking. No didn’t make feel ill. Didn’t realise it was happening initially.
They asked me like everyone else who drove themselves to wait 15 minutes before leaving the centre.
Plus they could tell I was fine, especially after I told the nurse to stop hovering and go scrub his hands. Felt more sorry for him. Literally he had my blood on his hands!
I thought that they had to change gloves with every patient? When I go to get B12 jabs I try not to touch anything because the nurse has to clean the chair that I sit on etc. If it was warm enough I'd stand up for it, but there's nowhere else to put my coat.
Only a couple of weeks ago I had to have blood tests in my GP surgery and she had gloves on. That’s why I was surprised that he didn’t, especially with this whole pandemic situation
I hope he has learnt his lesson. Although he was obviously wearing a mask you could tell he was young
