Hi everyone! So over Christmas break....I did kind of splurge a little bit on food that was not gluten free (okay a lot!) huge mistake i feel horrible (mood wise) and bloated in my tummy. I also have increased inflammation in my neck and my shoulders. Whats a good way to help move the gluten along in my body quicker?

Are you intolerant or coeliac? For an intolerant, gluten enzymes (e.g. gluten ease) can help to reduce the symptoms if taken in advance of the gluten. If coeliac, that won't help.

Activated charcoal taken after the gluten can reduce symptoms, you'd need to drink a lot of water with it.

Oh dear - as experiments go, that was a dicey one. No major advice, but I have found recently that an anti-histamine eases off some of the joint inflammation when I eat anything that reacts (lots of foods now cross-react like gluten for me), so maybe that's worth a go. A bit of exercise is also good for raising mood, and can help jolt your body's recovery. Other than that, hopefully symptoms will ease off. Do not repeat the experiment!
