Magnum classic ice cream

Any one eat these ?

Have done for quite a while but wasnt feeling to good this morning after eating one last night.

They are just the classic box 4 ......tiny writing on back but the english bit does say gluten free on the end. Might be nothing to do with the ice cream.

Also anyone know if uncle bens 2 min rice gluten free in particular the mushroom one is gluten free.

Im coeliac strict gluten free for 7 or more years .

Ice cream contains glucose syrup and sometimes fructose. These are considered GF even if derived from wheat or barley (less than 20ppm). Hence no need to label origin.

Usually it seems as if it's derived from corn though. Perhaps they've gone from corn to wheat?

You could always bother them and ask. You might not get an answer. But the more the merrier.. I always ask, because I want them to be aware that some of us cannot eat glucose syrup from wheat.

Hi Kittykat2, my favourite ice cream is Swedish Glace as its not only gf but dairy free, as too much dairy upsets me.

Thank you very much for replies might try to find out about the glucose syrup thats in it as I am very sesitive to any wheat etc.

Magnum's are normally safe.

Not bought Uncle Ben's mushroom rice for a while, but it also comes up on gluten free lists.

Thank you for replying maybe something else upset me as eaten both before. Too much dairy not good for me either to be honest ok with judt milk but anything bit richer seems to bother me X
