Refridgerated banana?

It is ok to eat a banana for me but.. in one occasion, i was keeping the bananas in the fridge, i took one and ate it a few hours later. It caused quite some flatulance and all. Question is, what may have caused it? What may be wrong if the banana that’s been kept in the fridge, has sit outside for a while?

I just ate one straight out of the fridge this time and there’s seemingly no harm.

The fridge affects the potassium in the banana, so it could be something to do with that? Only way to be sure it's the unrefrigerated banana that upset you, is to eat another unrefrigerated one!

It may be down to how ripe the banana was. If it was unripe when it went in the fridge it won’t have ripened before you ate it and that form of starch may not agree with you.
