In a firm believer in the role gut Flora plays in health and have been following the rainbow diet since the beginning of this year. It’s a very broad term and a relatively recent thing that they’re linking a broader range of conditions and symptoms to the gut but it’s not yet common practice to test gut flora - although I think it will become more and more routine as more research linking gut to health emerges. How did your diagnosis come about?

I believe from chemo drugs and antibiotics. I went on Vancimycin then 500 billion probiotics but not cured so had a faeces transplant, improve for a period of time but back with vengence, going to try diet now I think.

Gluten, Low stomach acid/hypothyroidism, antibiotics, chemo can all be the main reasons as to why you have dysbiosis. Do you also have candida?

I don’t know, if I did it was five years ago, I had 4 months of tests and no one knew what was wrong with me, I put on 7kj in 5 days and looked like I was dying, sooo ill.

Perhaps it is best to start with checking your thyroid function. Test: TSH, T4, T3, TPO, TgAb. It helps as well if you also tested Vit D, Vit B12, Ferritin

I hope you'll feel better soon!
