Toad!

In response to Fiona's Yorkshire pudding post, I thought I'd share a recent triumph with you - my Toad in the Hole. Don't ask me the receipe - I can't remember it too well - but I think it involved Juvela white flour mix, 4 eggs some milk and salt and pepper. I just put the 4 eggs into a large bowl, added the flour and mixed until it was stiff then added milk bit by bit until it was the right consistency. If I didn't have enough mixture, I just kept alternating flour and milk until I had enough and the mixture felt right. I then added it to 6 freshly cooked sausagues, still in the pan with the fat a-sizzling, and cooked until it looked nice.
