Hi everyone just a follow-up from my previous post about gluten /wheat free, and awaiting blood results etc,got one result today though have to see my doctors for full details, apparently my esr is abnormal can anyone shed any light on this please tia x

The erythrocyte sedimentation rate usually looks for inflammation, caused by autoimmune disorders, infections and cancer, so it's good that yours is normal.
Hi Leanne - abnormal esr can indicate some sort of inflammation. Gluten can cause inflammation in some people because either they are coeliac or gluten intolerant. Let us know how you get on. Best wishes Diane
