Does anyone else suffer from lichen planopilaris which is another autoimmune condition? I am gluten and dairy intolerant.

No, not lichen planopilaris but I do have oral lichen planus. I had this for five years before I was diagnosed coeliac.

Hi Mary DB could you let me know the symptoms of this condition as I am a coeliac and have a very painful tongue with a horrible taste in my mouth.

I did a bit of googling, and found that a amalgam fillings are associated with Lichen Planus, and that changing them to another type filling was recommended! Might be worth asking your doctor/dentist.

As to the painful tongue and mouth taste, severe ulcers and swollen tongue/lips are associated with Coeliacs, as I get them, but not sore tongue and bad taste, so again ask your GP.
