Dizziness is not always what it seems.

So, as I have said here before, my dizziness started when I was on Fixaprost drops, together with chest pains and shortness if breath. Opthalmologist changed me to Monoprost and 6 months later, still dizziness. Last visit to see him, he said it was nothing to worry about and would settle down. It hasn't. So, as I am due to see him 11 April, I have been to see my GP to find out if I really should be ignoring it (even though it has really impacted on my life).

She ran bloods, urine and stool analysis and it turns out I have high cholesterol and my kidneys aren't working properly. Both of these issues apparently give symptoms of.....dizziness.

So in 8 months I have developed high eye pressure and kidney problems. So, if you are having dizzy spells. Please don't just put up with them.

That's interesting.I was prescribed Brinzolomide and started having dizzy spells and chest congestion. Dr said to stop Brinzolomide and just continue my Monopost, which I've never had a problem with.

3 weeks after stopping Brinzolomide, I'm still having chest problems. Not quite as bad, but still feel as if I have a cold or chest infection. Also occasional dizzy spells. I thought it was Brinzolomide still in my system but it's been too long now.

I'm due to see Dr in April but no appointment yet.

Maybe I should check with GP (if I can get an appointment)

I wonder if the Brinzolomide has caused mild Asthma or something?

I think that it is wise to not assume the pressure meds are causing it. I wish I had gone to the GP sooner.
