I have sent my v1 medical form to the DVLA and have not heard for two months is this normal

licence. is OK I have gulcomer in both eyes so I have to inform the dvla

No, they are returning faster than that. I had the same problem so rang as due to expire. My letter had been lost in the post! New letter came with Specsavers code within the week so I suggest calling them. Phone waiting time was not long. Good luck.

My renewal letter received this week states that processing is taking longer than normal due to high volume. It’s quicker to apply on-line - the process only takes 5 minutes.

I sent mine in November as licence expired in January chased them beginning of January woman sent a letter stating I could drive under section 88. Just received letter to book test at Specsavers yesterday. So in my case I have been kept waiting and until they have the results even longer. Unbelievably I undertook a Specsavers test in 2024 and result was perfect. The DVLA are a law unto themselves.
