today I had my 8 week check-up. For the last 3 weeks since the last of my stitches were removed, I have had very blurred vision and crinkling of my eye-white causing refractive eye flashes. I was checked by 2 opthalmists who assured me nothing was wrong.
Today I was told by my specialist surgeon that my pressure had dropped to 5. His instruction was to stop all eyedrops. I was not aware that the Maxidex was keeping my eye from healing.
There seems to be a dearth of information given to the patient. I was offered the option of having another stitch put in, but I’m sure if someone had enlightened me to the fact that the blurred eye was caused by low pressure and the drops were exacerbating this, I could have acted sooner. I am now confident that my eye will recover enough pressure and my vision will return.

I really hope that your recovers very soon now. I am taking notes regarding everyone's story to tell here with the various type of eye operations. I fear that because my new drops with the timolol are causing shortness of breath that in the new year I will have to face having the aqueous shunt inserted. I am not happy about it though as it seems that many of you are suffering in one way or another afterwards...I will be interested to see how you improve. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes. x
My consultant took me off it and prescribed Cosopt instead which is a combination of Timolol and Dorzolamide. That's been better though it stings a bit.
